WHAT IT IS:
White henna is a henna design on one’s hand, except that it’s white in colour and not the usual brown. Depending on the material used, it stays up to a week on one’s body.
HOW IT STARTED:
Though it originated in the Middle East, the fashionista brides not wanting to opt for brown henna have taken fancy to it. It is also a favourite option for dark-skinned girls on whom brown mehendi doesn’t leave that lasting impression.
HOW IT’S DONE:
Classy and elegant, it is not so much a henna, but a sticker, tattoo or body paint or glitter used to make designs on the hand and other parts of the body .
