Uniqlo is considering to produce in India
The Japanese giant Uniqlo is considering to start producing in India. The company manufactures mos of their collections in China, but they are looking towards to diversify their resources at the time that the prices goes up in that country. Tadashi Yanai, President of Fast Retailing, which owns Uniqlo, held a meeting on June 25th with Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of Commerce, and with textile exporters. As a brief statement in the government website says «Uniqlo wants to produce garments in India».
